Digibirds AVCNet-H is a future-proof and backwards compatible concept for UltraHD / 4K AV distribution, adopting exisiting Gigabit Ethernet technology to switch, extend and distribute audio, control and video signals at visually lossless levels in real time. AVCNet-H is an independent set of tools for research and development purposes, featuring high density encoding and decoding for various signal types, redundant AV networks and streams, secure content distribution, network error resilience as well as critical-quality 4K video compression with extremely low latency. AVCNet-H can distribute AV signals using standard off- the-shelf 1GbE network switches, supporting a wide array of applications, including Point-to-Point Extension and complex Matrix Switching for video wall and MultiView displays. The AVCNet-H solution includes transmitter/ Tx (Input Node) and receiver/Rx (OutputNode) while the software supports web-based control without application or software installed.
