IS141 – Mini DisplayPort to HDMI Adapter: 4K60 Signal Conversion for AV Interfacing
The IS141 Mini DisplayPort to HDMI Adapter features a compact 0.10 m form factor, supporting 4K UltraHD signal conversion at 60 Hz for integration between modern source devices and HDMI displays. Its slim ABS housing and unidirectional signal path facilitate straightforward deployment in meeting rooms, workspaces, and signage installations where space constraints and cable management are critical. Triple shielding and high-purity copper conductors minimise signal loss and interference, while the portsaver design reduces mechanical stress on device ports. This adapter is suitable for fixed and semi-permanent AV setups requiring reliable, high-bandwidth video interfacing.
4K60 Signal Transmission: Supports Mini DisplayPort 1.2 to HDMI 2.0 conversion with a maximum bandwidth of 18 Gbps, enabling resolutions up to 4K UltraHD at 60 Hz. This ensures compatibility with high-definition displays in professional AV and presentation environments.
Gold Plated Precision Contacts: Utilises gold-plated contacts to enhance conductivity and reduce contact resistance. This construction improves signal reliability and longevity, particularly in scenarios involving frequent connection cycles or variable environmental conditions.
Unidirectional Signal Path: The adapter is engineered for signal flow from Mini DisplayPort male to HDMI-A female only, preventing reverse signal routing. This unidirectional design supports predictable integration in controlled AV installations.
High Purity Copper and Triple Shielding: Employs high-purity copper conductors and triple-layer shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and maintain signal integrity. This configuration is particularly beneficial in electrically noisy environments or where multiple AV signals are routed in close proximity.
Portsaver and Strain Relief: The portsaver design allows for a narrow cable bending radius and provides strain relief at the device interface. This feature helps to protect source equipment ports from mechanical stress during installation or repositioning.
Reliable 4K AV Conversion in Compact Form
The IS141 adapter delivers stable 4K60 signal conversion, robust shielding, and mechanical protection for device ports. By combining high-bandwidth transmission with a compact, strain-relieving design, this unit supports efficient AV integration in environments where space, reliability, and signal quality are critical deployment factors.
The cables are essentially unidirectional, i.e. they can only transport the signal in one direction. This is always clearly indicated. Only the cables and adapters with the same signal type on both sides (e.g. DisplayPort to DisplayPort) can be used bidirectionally.
All adapters feature a 0.10 meter long Portsaver pigtail cable with a very small bending radius, which provides effective strain relief to the connected devices sockets. All cables, including the Portsaver cables of the adapters, are triple-shielded and equipped with inner conductors made of tinned copper strands. Except the DisplayPort female sockets (PVC), the connectors of all cables and adapters are made of robust ABS material the metal plug housings themselves are always nickel-plated and the connection pins are always gold-plated. This allows for perfect signal transmission at all times while efficiently protecting against corrosion.
The USB-C plug of IS2200 up to IS2221 cables can be used reversibly, so there is no need to pay attention to the plug direction. All USB-C cables transmit AV streams using DisplayPort Alternate Mode (DP Alt Mode), provided the source device also supports DP Alt Mode. They are not suitable for USB data and power transmission.
The cable diameter varies between 4.5mm and 4.8mm depending on the signal type of the cable and is always 3.9mm for all cables with USB-C connection.
All cables are available in two colour variants. White cables end with the number "0" in the item number, the black versions with a "1".
